First and foremost, this movie is really not for everyone( especially of the religious, weak stomached and sexist) but it does it have some pretty harrowing 2nd mind, wtf did i just see kind of moments.

It revolves around a couple who lose their child during the introduction of the film(watch it and find out how) and how they deal with it,psychologically and physically.

The film has stirred up a hell of a lot of controversy for both its depiction of females as evil incarnates (what could be further from the truth really) and graphic sexual violence.

I reckon it is one of those movies that viewers will perceive, rationalize and interpret each to their own as it is more a complex puzzle then a series of random events. It's the kind of movie you trawl imdb.com after viewing for answers or explanations because you don't really know if you've just witnessed a masterpiece or an abomination of art.

After watching this movie I wasnt sure wtf I thought.
All I know is I felt his pain, what man wouldnt.
Very deep subject matter which wont suit many.

I say brave performance especially Charlotte Gainsbourg, This one is hard to explain (and will goto IMDB and see what smarter people than I thought)

I'd have to think out this one, but initially I thought it was some artsy porn film with devil worship under tones..

never seen anything like it.
I'd watch it again, just to figure it out - or maybe the writer/director are just sick ole pervs * scratches head *
