Default Windows 7 and Outlook Express Replacement

    Hi there

I am looking at migrating to Windows 7 but apparently there is no equivalent to outlook express included.

Can someone please advise what I should do, what I should use.

I would like something that will be compatible with Outlook Express files e.g. able to load the raw mail files (like PST files in outlook)

    Thanks

yes there is, but you have to manually add a shortcut to your desktop......

    program files/windows mail/winmail.exe

    Mozilla thunderbird

I think you can import pst files into it but it might require a plugin

Click Start.......In the search box type...essentials.....Then hit enter this will take you online....you can then follow the instructions to download what components you need....Part of the Windows Live Crap.
