Funny People (2009)
I really enjoyed this. I am not a huge Adam sandler fan but this was worth watching.
The amount of cameo's must be a new movie record almost anyone that is in the comedy scene or has been in comedy has a small part to play in this film. (check out for cast list)
Honestly some great lines and perhaps a realistic portrait of what is might be like to be a comedian in the USA (in the day, or perhaps currently)
Story is about a famous comedian, and his battle with a terminal disease and his realization that he lost the one true love of his life. Some of the performances are truly amazing I would say Eric Bana did a stella job (not going to win an Oscar but really well done)
And perhaps Adam was the only one that could have pulled the "Famous" comedians role off, which was believable even though I did not find him that funny in the film. Special mention to Seth Rogen who holds the whole film together. really well done.
I can't remember a film that runs for 2h:33min so get comfortable and sit back and hopefully you will enjoy.
Just my opinion, others may hate it!
