anyone on the goldcoast who runs an sli vga???

my system wont boot and i am getting a vga error and i have no spare sli card to test with , and after reading up on the error on the ASUS A8N it seems it could be the board .

so was hoping some one lives near tweed and would plug my card in to see if it
is the card or board.

i went to go to the local computer store here in tweed but both have been shut down over the weekend.

na phill just the one made sure the sli board is set to one card was ok a few weeks ago then moved it and now no go.

Tried two different psu's both 600watt + and same no joy removed the board from case disconnected everything bar the case switch's then used the 3 different sticks of ram one at a time and went through booting with them in each slot hoping it was a ram issue with the timing or such.

so now am down to two culprit's either video or motherboard

the card blew the slot 1 on the board or slot 1 blew the card

we managed to get it up and running by using a spare card in slot 2 , but dare say the board needs replacing also
