I was listening to the radio a couple of weeks ago and there was a guy who has the best scam I've ever heard of and I want in !
His business is called "Heavenly Earthbound Pets".
He is selling .... "Rapture Insurance".

I must have been listening to the same show, what a great business proposal, and easy seller "well you would what to make sure you take care of the animals that are in your care after your gone..you wouldn't want to be judged as being cruel to the poor beast...?"

Now just to make sure that his business partners are on the level, they must be able to prove they are atheists. This is done with a series of tests to ensure that you are an atheist or at least miss the rapture Blasphemy is good start. Burning a bible filters out a few more.

Happy to participate in a frachise over here, willing to past either of the above testing (just wish there was a bigger market here)

Now just in case you think there's no market for this kind of insurance, think about this. 40% of the USA population is of this kind of episcopal christianity.
There are >250 million people in the USA alone, so that is 90 million potential customers. At $100 each, that's a $9 billion dollar market in the USA alone.

NASA does not have a monopoly on world space science and bugger all to do with astronomy itself.

Astronomy is a global science that's active in every country, none of which answer to NASA or the American government.

I don't believe in ancient spaceships either. Why? Because some orbital slots, (depending on height) take forever to decay. LEO sats may re-enter in time but those further up stay in some sort of orbit for many thousands of years +. So far no one has detected any ancient spacecraft in any orbit.

Not to mention the industrial infrastructure needed to design and build the things.
