    Default Multiroom Main Event

    Hey All,

I have F0xtel multiroom installed in my house and i was wondering if i ordered the Danny Green Main Event tomorrow night, would it appear on both my boxes, even though the 2nd one is not connected to the phone line?

    Cheers,
    JB

OK then, how does it work?
Does it send it to box 1?
Does it do this by determining the smart card or the actual box?

You could have 5 boxes in your house.
When you order FBO it goes to one box. Each box has to make its own
order wheter by remote or a phone call.
So if all 5 boxes want to watch a PPV event or movie you have to PAY 5 times.
Phoneline is just to order. Everything else is done OTA.

Right thanks for the reply, what about if the order was done online, how does it determine which box gets it?

In the online my account setup you can select your default box. So change to the box you want to view.

Are you 100% sure of this.
I can tell you the household has 4 boxes and only the box the order goes through receives the FBO movie. Each other box has to order and pay for its own use.
If the account subscribes to additional channel such as RAI, Antenna or Setanta then ALL boxes get the service.

If this is true it would be a change as far as Setanta is concerned because their website used to explicitly state that you'd only get it on the one box

if you order fbo or main event with the remote it will only go to that box
if you order over phone or internet it will go to all boxes on your account no matter where they are or if they have phone line conected
setanta you have to pay them and they charge for each smartcard

OK, I only assumed about Setanta, but I know Antenna goes on all boxes when you ring and order as an add on.
I will try next time to order over the phone the 2 FBOs they give you with platinum package and see what happens.

Another thing, when Antenna is activated on the orange card and works in IQ box, it doesnt open channel via newcs.

Unless they've changed something very recently...

EVERYTHING except Setanta goes to all boxes on the account. The reason why Setanta doesn't is apparently due to it being a seperate company with no access to the individual account details on their system as Fux/Assstar does.

Everything includes, Antenna, RAI, FBO, Adult, and yes, Mainevent

I can confirm 100% that when you order FBO movie or MainEvent, the program is unlocked on all Multiroom boxes associated with the account.

    Thanks everyone for your help.
