Dunno but if it's recently banned it's probably running the fall update and isn't hackable anyway. Best go back to playing copied games on it. :-)

finally got my own jtag box setup after raping, pillaging and plundering the lands for a handful of exploitable jasper 60gb pros. seems good so far but im waiting for the new interface as this one is quite dull.
does anyone know if xbreboot accepts say a 500gb unofficial hdd in the official enclosure? or am i limited to 250gb (Not talking about usb hdd, i need something on the go)
Just an update, Picture of my quick install, its rather messy at the moment i will be cleaning it up for a more permanent setup very soon but i wanted to just get it setup and working first and its all good without issues so far.
I only took the one pic on my phone bad quality, it doesnt show but i put the wire down through the mobo/chassis and brought it up around the front to solder onto the RF board, im sure there is a better way to do it but as i i said i was just trying to get it done asap to get it all working
Jasper 16mb mobo install btw
Im also looking into a great mod for the xbreboot/freeboot which allows you to use any 3.5" or 2.5" drive. Requires piggybacking some a SATA power and data cables of the existing port on the board for the official drives. Thanks to Frostythesnowman over on xbox-scene for giving everyone a nice quick tute on the basic idea of it, ill be working on my own version where ill be mounting my ports at the rear of the case along with my LPT cable when i get my ass down to bunnings and get a cutter and hotglue gun.
tute here:
Thanks heaps to FrostytheSnowman for his work on this

I have 5 brand new jasper 16mb consoles running XBR atm all flawlessly, just waiting on some reliable software (having to use viper and xexloader to copy dvds). going to test out this new NXEGOD program which allows you to install games traditionally through the NXE dash then run the program which patches them to play without disc. I hear there is problems with freeboot though.
Anyone got pics of their installs?
Setups?
Im working on my 3.5" hdd mod atm im just having probs finding a way to have a 3.5" drive attached while remaining largely portable (WHY CANT THEY HAVE BIGGER 2.5" YET!!)
Hey guys,
I've just checked my dashboard and my kernel is 7371.
From the link I found this is an "iffy" jtagable unit.
I'm not experienced enough to try and "dump the nand" so I was just wondering if you guys have had any troubles j-tagging one with a similiar unit/kernel number or if i'm best to just get rid of it and look for one with a lower kernel.
Cheers for the help.

Its more than exploitable as long as it hasnt been back to MS

As urban has said.
If MS has not patched the CB then you'll be fine. Generally if the unit had a 3rrod for example and was returned back to MS say sometime in June 2009 or later then it would be patched and even if it comes with a 2.0.7371.0 dash/kernel would not be exploitable.
If the above has not happened to you, you're fine.

I have a question.
Concerning Mass Effect 2 I got around installing both discs into one folder in Xexmenu 1.1 to boot via an external 1TB HDD so the when the "Please insert Disc 2" nag screen pops up it goes away fairly quickly as the contents of Disc 2 are now also within the same ME2 folder with the 1 default.xex (both discs content in the 1 folder).
That's not my issue though, my issue right now is getting the game Blue Dragon (oldie), which is 3 DVD's to boot in Xexmenu 1.1 from an external 1TB HDD without needing to create a Disc1, 2 & 3 folder for the game.
Any ideas, anybody?

Anybody?

I've been hunting around as well and have a bit of a stockpile going Currently got 6 exploitable consoles sitting unopened in the bedroom I figure I'll wait until they're harder to get before I offload them.
On a related note, Dash Launch v0.01 was released just recently to allow you to boot directly into a modified dash (Xexmenu/Freestyle etc). Awesome I love how fast 'the scene' progresses when these exploits are finally discovered.
Happy days

Guys,
Google XBR_RF_autolaunch Belenos Pack.rar
Code:1.) Rename appropriate XBRpatch to updpatch.bin: For 16 Mb nand rename updpatch_16MB.bin For Big Blocks (256 and 512 Jasper) rename updpatch_Big_Block.bin For region Free Patch Only (only tested on16MB) rename updpatch_RF_only 16mb. 2.) Place Updpatch.bin at root of USB or Xbox HDD 3.) Place the appropriate Launch.XEX at root of Xbox HDD (not needed for region free only) XEXmenu Lauch expects Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558 Freestyle Launch expects HDD:\FreestyleFreestyleDash.xex USB Launch expects UsbX:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558 or UsbX:\Freestyle\FreestyleDash.xex it will launch first found. try usb port 0 first, because its first to be recognized by the system on startup. (usb0 = the one on the back) 4.) Launch Flash360 (thanks Redline99) Press B (write update areas of Rebooter) Press B (Write updpatch.bin) Once completed press back button twice and xbox will shut off. turn back on and your loader will boot instead of Dashboard. Orignally brought to you by XeDev [cOz] xex source is included, in it's current form it does the minimal amount of work to launch the con if it's not present it should fail to dash with "could not load" error message

Dash Launch v0.02
its out has anybody got a link for the download?
pm or whatever
cheers
That and if MS refurbished/RROD replaced it.
I'm not aware of anything else I'm afraid.
I may be able to help.
Code:install: -put launch.xex in the root of your hard drive's content partition -put launch.ini in the root of your hdd content partition and/or usb root -add the included patches to freeboot/xbr patchset (there is a bonus xex region free patch in there for those who don't have it) -this may help with patches: http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=14348.0 what it does: waits for bootanim to finish, then launches a xex or con as defined in ini file (you don't see NXE dash) the ini file: -it's possible to have two ini files, one on hdd and one on a usb device, the USB ini takes priority over the hdd one, so console behaviour can be changed by adding/removing usb device (** it is NOT recommended to launch USB con/xex from hdd ini **) -MUST be plain ASCII text, the first character of the file MUST be the start of a path to a xex or con, the last character after the path must be a semicolon ; there are no spaces allowed and everything after the semicolon will be ignored. xex source is included caveats: this is presented as-is, any risk is solely the end users responsibility. While all of us are sorry when unforseen things happen, not every situation or mistake can be accounted for before they have been spotted. thanks: Big thanks to all the users who are helping eachother figure out ways to use these new patches and sorting through any issues that arise. Be aware, as many problems as you can find we can try to address - above all, enjoy! Big thanks to those who opened the way and those who made it even more usable. Huge thanks to the other members of XeDev who constanly put up with my antics, I need SOMEWHERE to practice being a downtown mumbler! brought to you by XeDev http://xedev.xbins.org/ and of course [cOz] v0.02 changes - added a small delay so XBR users who want to launch a con from launch.xex can - implemented a simple ini file parser and fileExist - auto detects LIVE and XEX2 to use the appropriate launch method - fails to dash reliably now v0.01 -initial release
