    Default 7025 images looking up!

Two previews of *NEW* Enigma2 images coming out later this month.

The new one from LT team:

and the first one from the Peter Pan team for the 7025 (which looks awesome because of the SQLite Epg integration).

(the music is terrible but the image does look good!)

Looks like i will be dumping gemini soon..

I too have been waiting for this PP Enigma2 image.

The only challenge may be how to convert epg in xml (from Aussie sources) into SQLite. Just as soon as weve sorted that out, I reckon I will be ditching Gemini.

MMMMMM was very helpful in getting the MView plugin to work with Aussie stuff. Now as author of PP E2, he seems to be doing a very thorough job.

Ive been trying to follow the thread for the last few days and the team is trying to sort out some card reader driver problems (not totally sure due to language). The NewCS mob have blamed DM7025 driver for apparent NewCS problems for some time. Maybe PP can crack this as well.

    Happy March!

    Hi Guy,

Can someone please explain in more detail what they mean by this release needs a CLEAN FLASH INSTALL.

and also what this means :it is strongly recommended to setup a SWAP-file of at least 32MB on a CF card as soon as possible.

    thanks

I think the swap is because it has a lot of features and uses a lot of memory (you will see if you install it - it's crammed with features). I think that clean install is designed to prevent bugs and clashes... you *may* find it works anyway if you install it on a CF, but i think they don't want to deal with you if it doesn't...
