Vengeance

As the title suggests, it's a tale of vengeance when a man's daughter and family are brutally attacked. Starring Johnny Hallyday, a french actor. it is set in Hong Kong and Macau mostly. Subtitled as language is french, chinese and english.

A very different story from the usual American formula movies. He has an old injury that is causing progressive memory loss, so hires 3 hitmen to help him track down the killers. Enough twists and action (lots of shooting) to keep you on your toes and I had no idea how it would end. Cinematography was excellent.

As I have been around long enough to have seen so many movies that follow a set storyline, this was a goodie as far as I was concerned.


ps The version I downloaded was 2CD 1.4G gaygay version with surround sound. If you join these with something like fast avi mpeg joiner, you can add these subtitles I have modified to only show subtitles in the foreign language parts of the film
