    does anybody know if you can read the ecu chip and change any thing on it on comodoore.

    dont think so im sure there would be a way to adjsut fuel air ratios otherwise you will need a aftermarket ecu..

    There are PC suites that allow you to interface with the ecu and reprogram them, i.e. Mafless edit's etc.

    What values do you want to change?

    What model Commodore is it?

    yeah I recall Chris Hillman(Hillman Automotive) being able to remap the standard ECU to suit any car, was about 10-15 years ago from memory.
