2008 Melbourne Motor Show
Went there today for a look around.
I was surprised by all the cheap plastic interiors.
Alfa Romao had a beutifull black Alfa on display. On closer inspection the bonnet looked like it had been repaired and sprayed by a backyarder with a spraycan. Id look to kill if id spent that much on a car and found crap quality after taking delivery of it.
The new Holdern coupe is incredibly sexy.
The side exhaust outlets look awsome.
Front looks good
Rear has a large diffuser and the guards have a old school flared look.
The interior is mind blowing.
I give it 10/10.
The car that i was interested in seeing was the new Nissan GTR.
Must say i was impressed with it on paper.
In real life it lost its spark (and balls for that matter)
What happened to fitting a gearstick and clutch?
Damm tiptronic crap. I need a clutch to drop.
Land Rovers concept car was nice looking
Overall some nice new cars, just the build quality is really going to the dogs.
I had to point out to an Audi salesman that the aluminium engine parts on one car were covered in a white powder called corrosion.

I went wednesday, and i would have to say that i did notice how dearer the aus built cars have got, compared to how cheaper the imports have got.
50k for a holden v8 ute...i dont care what model it was a holden or ford ute is a joke at 50k.....quality is so far behind the rest of the world.

Yes i see your point.
A ute is 3/4 of a sedan, so the prices should reflect this.
Just another money grab.
