    Default Cable house move

I have just moved house and i have had to get opt*s Cable internet installed, the house i bought had 3 Opt*s points in it that where active. I asked the installer that i would like these points to remain active so i can move the modem to the lounge room when i get my TV in (for blue ray) now he said that if i want to get that done I would have to call opt*s to get a tech out to move it.

I watched him remove it in the Dark Grey box outside and i have the stuff to put it back, so does anyone know what tool they use to unscrew that box and where to get it?

I am a little annoyed that they did this because I work in the IT field and also know when i am being lied to and the reason he gave me was complete rubbish.

I also believe according to the Telecommunication rules that telstra and optus keep quoting after installation "the house cabling is the responsibility of the owner and a charge will be incurred for any work in relation to cabling"

    Regards

It's a torks head with a hollow tip. You can buy them or use pointy nose pliers. As for 3 points in the house connected to nothing, sure you can do it but if you have optus for telephone, your service will be unreliable due to signal fluctuations and ingress.
