    Default MIMS on PPC

Found this on a site, I have a PALM, and already have a keygen for PALM, but I thought you PPC users may have a use for this.
Can some-one try this and provide feedback for others
Download MIMS and MIMS Interact from there site and then try this:

    Method 1:
    1. After install, replace original exe with the patch one.
    2. Register with code xxxx-ANY-ANY-ANY
    3. If no error, you will got a expire date message.

    Suggested replace xxxx with 1867

    Method 2:
    1. Follow the procedure of "Method 1"
    2. After registered, look into registry
    HKLM\Software\MIMS Australia\MIMS on PDA\
    ValidationCode1 aaaa
    ValidationCode2 bbbb
    ValidationCode3 cccc
    ValidationCode4 dddd
    3. Now, you can get your registration code as "aaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd" and register the "Offical Application" with it.

    REMARKS
In Method 2, only keys with expire date on or before 2030 can be apply.

Thanks for that, great program have the book version from 2006 and have been after the pda version.

I have installed both programs and both are set to expire in 2030, what is the purpose of looking into the registry as mentioned in the setup of the program?

    Red face MIMS on PDA

Hi guys, I am very much a novice with my PDA. I have tried to activate MIMS but with each code I enter I get a "Validation code invalid. Continue in trial mode" message. Are there any other codes I can try. I am using a HP iPAQ h2210 running Pocket PC 2002. Can any one help. Thanks

I just did a hard reset on my Pda last night and put back the stuff i want to free up some memory, anyway all i did was went to the mimms home page grabbed the july mimms pda version and installed that then used the patch in post #1 to overight the original file that was on the pda, strated up the program on my Pda and when it asks fo4r validation i put in the following 1867 1234 1234 1234
it comes up registered - expires Jan 11 2030

Just put in the info i have mentioned and it should work.

Thanks satboy, I've also installed MIMs on a PPC and can confirm that if you follow these steps:-
    Method 1:
    1. After install, replace original exe with the patch one.
    2. Register with code xxxx-ANY-ANY-ANY
    3. If no error, you will got a expire date message.

    You'll get registration until Jan 11 2030

I'd say do a full uninstall of the application, then install the latest version with the patch.

How do I uninstall MIMS Product Info Module/MIMS Interact Module from my PocketPC?
    1. Click Start button and select Settings.
    2. Go to the System tab and select Remove Programs.
    3. Select the module (MIMS Product Information/MIMS Interact) you want to delete and click on the Delete button.
