first of all merry xmas and happy new year to all members.

i have a gamma v5.3card having problems working in db500s & db7000 for cardsharing internal,i have read all the information regarding cccam config tried all possible ways still no go .i have also tried an external cardreader connected to the db7000 mastera 111,the best i can do is blank screen but shows the green light as a working.any help .i have update my old ci unit with new software got it to work in the db7000 ci slot but still wont cardshare around the house.

all up and running after 5days of headbashing..thank you to euro and turk forum members....yes leroy you can cardshare via the ci via gbox and via cccam.you need the right version but.

i got the info from the ci and pasted it in the config file of cccam and added the required details.its all in the config file of cccam but you need the correct one and the correct image for the dm7000. if you use the wrong image on the dream the ASC number is different but the CAID number stays the same.this is why it took me a few days to get it to work[again thank you to euro and turk forum members].the config needs the prov oo,card serial,asc number,caid number.there was no luck with the dm500 will try with the external reader.

Are you able to confirm the image used and also provide a copy of the cccam.cfg file (without card details of course) This could be useful for me too

I,m sure he's talking about the card slot as the dm500 don't have a ci slot.

Interesting dongiorgio. I was always under the understanding that you cannot share from a cam.
A couple of questions.
What type of cam is yours and
Could you please post your CCcam.cfg ?
(make sure you blank out your HSN)

Look here


Picture that shows front off box there are 2x smartcard reader slots
and 1x ci_module slot.
As you say you have 2 cards running in it, it sound like your useing the 2x smartcard reader slots.
This might clear things up.

i just went thru the whole channels, i only found to have one problem the ci channel breaking up all the others fine including the extras.

The CI card (whitey )is it breaking up on dm7000 pics, or is it only effecting clients connected to this share.???????

there are 2 versions of 5.3
dose yours work in a strong box or only a modified box/cam

internally works well with the other boxes sharing ,having slight pixelation problems externally on the extra channels ,i let me mate in qld connect via CS.he told me that the nds channels work well,the extra via the whitey our breaking up every 30sec for about 1sec ot two sec still very watchable,he explained to me timing issue between the ci and cccam.

i dont use strong boxes. i know it works with the next hdtv,mediastar hdx9100 and the oct918 in the card slot i have a modifield ci cam which had the chip changed two weeks ago and new firmware put on.also works in the new smit ci mk11 selling for around $100 irdeto only.
