First you need to get a HDD that is known to be compatible with the Wii, then download WBFS manager and format the HDD, then just load it up with games. You will also need a USB loader on the wii to read and load the games.

    My advice is STOP.

Check out the above link; get the apps (3) then play.
I went around and around "n" around, reading this reading that, I believe I made it
Allot harder than it actually is.

Don’t forget you’ll need an SD card 2Gig to put the apps onto the wii (neo gammer etc.)

ONE more thing if you’re going to put your BOUGHT disk onto HDD don’t do it on your plasma TV.
I had ghosting for about a week.

New wii's have System Menu 4.0e and a D3 drive that can Not read dvd-r's

For new Wii use BannerBomb to load HomeBrew Channel

    Then follow guides from gbatemp/wii

Do you mean don't leave the load disk screen on for 15 mins while you are dumping a game to hdd??

I just change the channel on my Plasma whilst dumping a game...???

Google: Pioneer Plasma Washer, it can help with image retention (ghosting) i had the same thing with my plasma, and it worked

    Edit
    Here is the link

Original is 4+ gig, this is ripped (82meg), just set the Dvd player to loop and run it over night
The ISO can be burnt to CD or DVD
