    Default Navigon 1300

I picked up a Navigon 1300 today from HN for $149 (sticker price $219). I would like to run other GPS apps on it (e.g. Garmin, TomTom). The unit has a micro SD card slot although it didn't ship with an SD card and all the maps and software are stored internally. Is it possible to install another GPS app internally and run it from the internal memory or do I need to install it on the micro SD card? And if so how do I get the unit to boot from the micro SD card? Has anybody had any experience with this unit?

    Cheers,

    Brian

well the internal memory im assuming has only enough memory for navigon, for example, 512mb or 1gb ??? so u could possibly run them internal is a bit tricky, maybe 1 application you may be able to run ??

secondly, you have to UNLOCK it, google will help you with this, try it....
unlocking your device will enable you to run other applications from the memory card...
does your device run WIN CE ?? if it does, you can look at my tutorials in my signature...

hollowman, I have searched Google and found information for other Navigon models (ones with SD cards) but none for the 1300. I tried a tutorial for the 2100 but it didn't work.
