    I have the latest gemeni running on a 7020 and also found this to be the case.

    2.04 Works fine with an austar sub.
    Aurora
    2.04 Works fine if the keys are current
    2.04 Fails to update the keys

    Cheers, RHCP.

    P.S. For other people still having trouble, make sure you chmod 755 (enables read & write) the key files and when editing the files, be careful what program you use, as some can add extra non-visible characters/formatting - i use notepad and crimson editor.

    Edit:

    RHCP thanks for those keys, I do know that CCcam_2.0.0 works fine with the PMK update, the only thing you need to do which caught me out, is you need to download the CCcam config if you are running Gemini, for whatever retarded reason CCcam won't do the PMK update if you only download the softcam, you also need to download the default config files as well (and everything in the CCcam.cfg is commented out), then drop the AutoRoll.Key into the /var/keys, and restart CCcam and you are away (after 30 seconds - 1 min depending on how long it takes to do a emm update).

    Reading back here a point I question is if the program defaults to those stated files there is no need to uncomment the lines .

    In fact the lines usually would not even be necessary.
    So if its not working check what files the program defaults to exactly and make sure they are available in your PATH.

    Yes, it seems that CCcam 2.04 and aurora work fine with PLI image, but not Gemini....i'm not familiar with darkside images.

    I thought you were talking about the white card/sharing or official cards....Well at least it doesn't seem to be working reliably for everyone using keys....
    Like you say, there's probably a config/setup error (i have nothing in my config and it still doesn't work properly)....just easier to use 2.0 than try get 2.04 working.

    My point is it is nothing to do with choice of image, it's the version of ccam, contrary to what some pli fans are reporting.

    A pretty skin does not make a cam any better.

    some of the enigma code is changed from developer to developer and sometimes the image does make a difference, in this case the image isnt the problem, as X69 has stated

    z80 is right ..

    Pli & CCcam did not come back together until the release of CCcam 2.0.4 in Helenite.

    So the bomb proof versions of Image & CAM are Flubber with CCcam 1.2.1, Helenite with CCcam 2.0.4, Iolite with CCcam 2.0.4

    This info was plastered over the old system before the crash.

    I must have something stuffed, as only 2.0.0 works with my Iolite as well! - I have gemini as the flashimage, but IOLite (plus others) on the HDD for multi boot.

    What are the contents of the zip file? I think you may be able to manually install it by copying the files to their specific directories and renaming a couple of things...

    the files in the zip file are cccam.armeb, cccam.cfg, cccam.ppc, cccam.mipsel, cccam.x86, cccam.x86_64, changelog.
    i guess that they are mostly all program files just for different procesors.
    what file should i use

    cccam.ppc = powerpc which is the dreambox
    cccam.x86 = pc hardware (like 386, 486, pentium etc)
    cccam.x86_64 = 64bit pc hardware
    cccam.mipsel = I know my netgear router is mipsel - I almost got cccam working on that one day
    cccam.armeb = ???
