Got Optus cable, can I also get TPG ADSL?

Got a question-currently on optus cable plan (still got 12 months to go) and already on maximum plan. Need extra net and wondered if I could also get TPG ADSL as well since the cable it not connected to the phone line. My current phone is also with optus.

Any help would be greatful before I ring TPG, would I need to tell optus??

PS-would need to stay with optus for phone as getting cheaper calls and extra data. Otherwise was thinking of joining Unwired.

I was in a similar situation.
I needed to get a Telstra Copper Phone Line before TPGG could check if they could provide net.

Telstra asked for a $300 installation fee for the phone line, i got around it by negotiating. I suggest you do too.

ADSL also works on there "homeline basic" plan, even though telstra says it wont.
