Dream 500C Flash problem

Hey Guys,

anyone have any ideas on an error im getting with Dreamup
Trying to do a Flash erase.
ERROR, flash-erase failed, box will be unusable now!!

Have flashed my box with many images in the past first time im seeing this.

Also as the Error states the box is unusable.

Could this be a hardware problem, or something wrong with the image that I had on it?
Not Game to flash my other box untill I can get a little insite into whats going on here.

Hey Z80, its not a Sat box its a Cable box.

Try another image or try re downloading that one you have error with how you flashing it with a null modem cable?

download z80 flash file of primeevils website and add my cable.xml file from this website.

Hey Guys,
I am using a rs232 cable, have flashed the box many times before with no issue. Is there anyway to check the flash or dump an image on the box via the rs232 cable that does not require the box to be fully operational, anything other than Dreamup.

disconnect the cable cable.

is the psu getting hot?

flash it without anything connected except psu and rs232 cable.

I have a spare box of parts for a 500c......
