NX12 -> NX4 wiring
I had an NX12 installed about 10 years ago which during renovations 18 months ago developed serious issues. I got a tech out, he removed the mainboard, tagged and labelled all the cabling, tested the mainboard in the shop and told me it was basically fried.
After doing some research I realised an NX12 is overkill anyway as we only had 3 zones. So I bought an NX4 kit with a shiny new touchpad from the local Hills outlet.
Not having the old NX12 still wired in to compare to the NX4 I have a couple of questions relating to wiring:
1) Do the zone positive wires terminate at the keypad+ terminal?
2) Do the zone negative wires terminate at any COM- terminal?
3) Which zone wires are common? Blue or white?
4) Is there any need to add EOL resistors for the NX4 to work or would this have been done already when the NX12 was installed?

White -> COM terminals next to the zone terminals
Red -> Keypad+
Black -> Keypad COM

Let me repeat this back to be sure I've got it right:
PIR whites -> Zone COMs
PIR blues -> Zone 1,2,3
Bridge a resistor between the COM next to Zone 4 and the Zone 4 terminal?

Powered up system and checked for any problems with system, expanders etc, no issues so far.
Loving this Touchnav touch screen, tons better than the old binary keypad!
Many thanks for your help skiland, and very quick too
