Don't think you can upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit. Clean install only.
Hey guys I just got Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit.
I am currently running Vista Ultimate 32-Bit.
When I try run setup from windows I get error message cause of the different Bit versions.
If I boot from the DVD and tell it to install will this work or will same message come up?
I want to install Windows 7 BUT keep my files and settings
Thanks

I upgraded from W7 RC to Retail by doing this
and it works a treat. But from Vista to 7 you are better off with a clean install regardless of 32 or 64 bit...You computer will better off in the long run..
Get used to formatting and clean installs....I do it once a year ...
