Ultraplus F-9000HD PVR - How to play DivX movies

Has anyone had any luck playing DivX movies on the Ultraplus 9000HD? It says on the box it plays them but I cant get anything to play without the OS locking up - thats if Im lucky enough to see a picture at all, most times only the audio plays or the system tells me the file is not compatible/playable/corrupt (I forget the exact wording).

I've tried a heap of divx converters but nothing works on it.

Any one?

It plays DivX movie in AVI format , plz convert any other format to AVI and enjoy watching . Cheers
