Hi kokaz,Just get a dreambox and steam it over network to your pc,The dreambox has a function called webxtv built in and running by default. All you need to do is point your browser at the boxs ip address.
You can pick a DM500c for cable services for about $100 bucks and there is plenty of info on this forum to get it up and going.
Hope this helps.
G`day,
I have been looking into dreamboxs 500S and C they are pretty cheap and I understand the magic they carry with them, but umm will these sort of DVB be able to be used on decrypting (foxtel terrestrial) channels or only Optus C1 dish foxtel ?
Sorry for my newbie questions DVB-C mainly used on terrestrial.
Will I required any other additional hardware if I plan to use a DVB Dreambox 500c ?
Thanks in advanced

Cable TV on your PC. Does it allow you to enjoy a program on TV and the other on the screen of your computer. You may also be able to find the stations via the Internet that are not accessible to you via your cable plan or package. Watching TV on your computer, you may even be able to see certain programs pay-per-view charge.
Dreambox Manager Suite, Excellent program for steaming dreambox to pc
