    Exclamation Virus help =S

I'm stuck. My friends computer has a virus/spyware... every click they do in either Internet explorer or just normal explorer/my computer they get a popup message saying somthing along the lines of, A virus has been detected on your system click OK to download software. I have tried many things, SpyBot, AdAware, Norton, Windows defender and a couple more. If anyone knows a good dowload or have experienced this same problem some advise would be helpful.

ok dude, its probly not really a virus
just one of these software programs that wont give until you pay em\
1st, try add\remove programs to see if iots a installed program you can dump.
    2nd. click start,run,type,regedit. ok
    navigate to
    hkey local machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run\
on right, youll see a list of keys
delete anything not related to antivirus. reboot.
this should stop the offending program running.
then try to locate problem program in say c\program files and delete it.

Sounds like the PC needs protection, probably hasnt got a decent anti virus either if its been struck by one of those.

    Try kaspersky.

Try Spybot () and Adaware () and see if that helps - both are free and available online.

As for free Antivirus, Antivir () is pretty good

    Good luck

Check to see that messenger is disabled.

Start>settings>control panel>administrative tools>services>scroll down to messenger and then disable service.
