Default NTSC Games on Pal Wii (Hdd)

Is it safe to run NTSC games from my hdd or do I need to change some settings/ load some software. I know I can play then from the dvd drive as my chip has brick blocker turned on.

    Cheers

I use wiiflow. I also have a mix of pal and ntsc games on the hdd. I like wii flow because apart from being very easy to use it has a great gui interface.

With Usbloader GX I also have no troubles playing NTSC games on my PAL Wii.

No special settings required. All good.

+1 for GX. My three kids, 6, 10 and 12 can use it (Miss 6 with help from the older ones), so it's good for me...

Tried installing usb loader gx - I can't get it to run(laods the main screen then freezes on some screen with a whole load of crap - numbers and letters). I am running firmware 4.2E. ULoader and USBLoader 1.5 work no probs. Might try wiiflow.

    Cheers

I am also having trouble using alot of ntsc games in usb loader gx via USB hd

    I have....
    Pal Wii
    Firmware 4.1E
Usb Loader gx r.929 ( running as channel )
Wd 1.5 TB HDD seperated into 2 wbfs partitions setup with wbfs manager 3.0
    DriveKey with Update blocker on

I am finding that around 50% of my ntsc games on my usb drive will not load and simply go to a black screen

    Settings in Usb Loader GX
Video mode - Autopatch (after trying disc default )
    VidTV patch - On
Game Language - English ( after trying console default )
    Patch country string - off
    Ocarina - Off
    Boot Cios 222 ( after trying 249 )
    Quickboot - No
    Error 002 fix - Anti
    Install partitions - remove update
    install 1:1 copy - No

i had read in the usb loader gx readmev2 file that if i changed the boot Cios to 222 , setting 002 fix to Anti and Video mode to Autopatch that 99% of ntsc games should work on a Pal Wii and the other 1% simply need a blank dvd in the drive to work
I have even removed the GXgamesettings.cfg so it doesnt conflict with the GXglobal.cfg

just wondering if anyone knows where i am going wrong

I use CloverFloader & wd hdd, no changes to any Video settings, long as your Tv supports NTSC then it will be colour and wont roll, like older Tv's
Only changes is to 002 if needed

Got Cfg Usb Loader working and the games that were giving me problems in Usb Loader GX all seem to be loading fine but now i have a new problem

Evry time i am in a game and push the home button then select exit to Wii Menu

The screen goes balck and stays like that

Anyone know if this might be a problem with the loader or with the Wii itself ???

Im not having much luck with my loaders

i am now using cfg usb loader and havnt found any games yet that wont load from the hdd

i have the error 002 fix set to On

Now whenever i exit a game loaded from config usb loader i get a black screen and the wii freezes

i might try a complete reinstall of the config loader and see if this helps

i dont know what else could be causing the lockup on exiting a game
