    Default Linkeasy Serial 2 Ethernet

    Hey Guys
Anyone got one of these units.????????
I,m not sure whats going on or if i,m doing it right.
I have 5v power in and top light is on lan plugged in and get one light on lan cable connection (one on left only).
The problem is i cant get into the web interface, i thought it would be like entering router punch web address in and in she should go.
With network magic it is there and i can ping and get a response to it but thats it,it's like it has no web interface or i,m doing it wrong.
    Cheers

Until there is a final tool to upload firmware please follow this procedure:

1: Connect the Linkeasy to your pc via a straight through cable. You will need a 5volt 1amp power adapter.

2: Download the new firmware and utility from here

    3: Download Cygwin here

4: Download and install all packages

5: When you click on the icon for the fist time it will create your home dir probably c:\cygwin\home\yourname

6: Copy the two files that you downloaded from point 2: into there

7: Start Cygwin from your desktop

    8: Type ./flasher.exe -v (will give version)

    9: Type ./flasher.exe -b (will activate bootloader)

    10: Type ./flasher.exe -f 256_r360.CST (will take some time )

11: There may be long pauses. If it stops all together, repower the device and start again. There are no problems if it does this

12: You will now be able to access the Linkeasy webif and configure it to connect to a newcamd, cccam, gbox or radegast server via sssp

13: You can login to the Linkeasy via the default username is "admin"

Here are some examples of the required lines to connect to a cccam or a newcamd server

    CCCAM Server
    CCCAM ipaddress port username password
Example CCCAM 192.168.1.1 10000 linkey linkey

    NewCS Server
NEWCAMD ipaddress port username password deskey
    Example NEWCAMD 192.168.1.1 10000 linkey linkey 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Sweet. Good to hear they are doing the job.

I hear they work well with Octagons and clones. Check if your stb supports SSSP.

Hi Owen. Have they tried the following:

    1: Another Com port
    2: Another PC
    3: Another straight through cable

I would try those things first.

    EDIT:
But it is not possible for me to use CCcam with cryptoworks, nagra and viaccess together in the linkeasy at the moment. Only viaccess is working very fine.
Is there a bug in firmware?

    @ warbo

now i have to say that with CCcam server 2.0.11, 2.1.1 and 2.1.4 only the viaccess caids are working with this linkeasy.
The other cards are shown in Menue of linkeasy, but donīt work.

Do you mean this latest firmware version?

Over the weekend the engineer advised me there were some problems with the version and we will have a new one in the next day or so.

The firmware before and the latest firmware have the same bug. I hope there will be soon a better version available, because in the moment i cannot recommend linkeasy.

No problem, please send the new version and i will test it immediately.
