    Default Dual boot gone?

    Hi
I am running windows 7 on one hardisk and xp on another, was setup for dual boot under win7 install. Now this morning the dual boot option has gone and only will boot to win 7. WAs working ok yesterday, have tried a system restore on win 7 but no joy, any ideas??????
I can see both hd in bios and can access the xp disk under win 7, even disconnecting the win 7 hd wont let be boot to the xp disk , I figure win 7 has changed the way it boots???

    Cheers

right click on my computer then properties, go to advanced system settings, adnanced tab then click settings in the startup and recovery section. there their will be options for you to let your computer boot from drive or display options at startup so you can select which drive to boot from and how long you have to do so. hope this helps, if not their maybe something wrong with your xp os.
Stop being so stupid.. it’s my turn!!

Have had a look there and nothing seems to help either, there must be a problem with the boot sector of the xp disk, I have a full backup of it and might try that and see if it will allow me to boot to it

Ok , have resolved this issue. Seems the boot sequence in bios had changed since last nights shutdown. Have had a few iisues with it rebooting on shutdown after a bios upgrade, might check again to see if there is an uodate from MSI.

    Cheers
