    Default XP SP2 Vs SP3?

When SP3 for xp came out I faced few problems with some software and hardware and since then I dislike it and never given it another try, and I don't like installing it for my customers either and don't recommend it to them.
    what I wanna know is:
    is it OK now?
anyone still facing any problems( hardware or software) or ever had any problems with it?
am I better off without or it's good to have it?

    Thanks for any input guys.

I have been using XP sp3 for a couple of years now and I really don't have any problems with it. I prefer it to sp2 as I find it more stable.

I agree completely,I have it on 5 PC's at the moment including my Bro's family and its very stable. You have the odd strange thing happen from time to time, like outlook doing strange stuff but for the most part very reliable. Bascially once you have SP3 installed you stop updating.

i been using sp3 pretty well since it come out
    difference? who knows
all i know is if you dont you will allways get some wanker that wants all update or turns them back on after you disable it.
critical updates are about 100mb alone from a clean xp sp3 install from memory.
    rip xp.

Thanks guys, so I can slipstream it to my installation disc without any worries then, and I actually have an offline updater where you put all the updates on a cd and lets you choose what to update and add some components as well, so together they should be alright I guess.

    yea should be good
think the initial sp3 idea was bad but they may have updated it before final release
