IGO8 signposts are too big

does anyone know how to make the signposts on igo8.3 smaller?
i don't mind then being there, and i don't want to goto another skin.

if anyone has worked this out please let me know, i have a chinese 7" (480x234) GPS running wince4.2
and the signposts take up most of the screen and you can't really see the map, or if there is a way so they only turn on maybe 500 mtrs from exit

have you tried going through the skin archives ? (the skin zip files)?
you could check out branding.zip or data.zip ?

some bmp files may need resizing ?

you can then revert back to the original skin
maybe you could check out the sys file and modify that

That does not change the size of the sign posts, only changes the lane information size. So who is the bonehead

and scroll down to "Dimka TomSoft 1.1.25.2 (a)" or "diMkaMegaduck99 1.1.25bc"
and watch the animation and it shows sign posts at the top and land guidance at the bottom on the samr screen.

The question was how does one change the size of the signposts, does changing the size of lane information change the size of the signposts? yes or no.

Guys...to change the signpost size go to skin zipped inside the ui_igo8...in what ever resolution your using... look for laneinfo_signpost.ini..there are a few... you have to change all the sizes there. im using this config for 480x272 res:

Matty is using the standard skin and can't find a way to change it because the option isn't in the standard skin


and as for NRT, it does change the size of the signs as it's part of the lane information, my signs only covers the top 1/3 the screen now instead of over 1/2 of it

I tried it with megaducks skin and it there was no change in the size of the sign posts, only the lane guidance arrows changed size!

no one cares if you got the mega duck skin or not, all skins are different and do different things, rather then critizising try helping...
