Check out Voipbuster
Have a look at skype works well
Pennytel

10 cents per min to moblies

I been with them for over a year no problems
I also got there pennySim's for my mobiles saved a $#it load on them

Pennytel had a lot of problems back when I tried them. I changed over to mynetfone, on the whirlpool saver plan, No monthly fee's and pretty good call rates, and it works great.
have a look at faktortel, I've had no problems with them.
cheers
I have been using Pennytel for about two years on a Belkin 6404VP gateway.
Apart from the occasional resetting because of the brownouts we get up here, (remind me to muck up something with a battery back or something) I have never had any problems.

I've recently joined MyNetFone on the NeoSaver call plan - I've not had a single issue. Calls are great quality and saving heaps!!
NeoSaver gives us 60 free local/National/Neoglobal calls per month for $5. Neoglobal includes 30 countries (including NZ)
what do you guys think of gotalk? I've been considering cancelling my line rental and switching to voip as i got optus cable internet. i've called them today andshe mentioned a plan where you get 600 free local calls and 500minutes to mobiles for 19.95/mth and no contract.
Any opinions on gotalk?
I use GoTalk for all my calls and have found them very good....I have even made the system wife proof...so pickup any phone in the house and it's voip....the system must work well as the wife will soon let you know if there is a prob..
I've 3 other mates at work on GoTalk plans and all good so far...
The GF and myself have not long moved into a new place and haven't bothered to connect a landline as we both have mobiles. Work has paid for my Naked DSL so I thought I'd give VOIP a go.
I decided to sign up to PennyTel on their Free Access Untimed. My GF is Canadian so the 8c per call to Canadian Landlines and mobiles is great for us. It looks like the $10 of credit I purchased is going to last a while
At work we had a Grandstream BudgeTone-100 VOIP phone sitting in the cupboard so I took that home to setup. Plugged it into my router and configured it with my PennyTel account. Sweet. My mobile is a Nokia E51 which has native SIP support so I also configured it. Interestingly my GF was using the IP phone to make a call when someone else rang. The second call rang on my E51. Cool. I didn't realise you could receive more than one call at a time.
I also decided to purchase a DID for $15 for 3 years.
If only we could get a local Canadian 604 number for this cheap!
i bundle the voip with my naked dsl through iinet and loveit. Save so much money and it's been down like twice in two years.
You will find it hard to beat PennyTel's prices, I have Pennytel, Faktortel, Sipme and Exetel VoIP services at the moment and use Pennytel for all my outgoing calls, I have found the service fine if you set it up correctly, same as all VoIP services, the thing is, try it, if you aren't happy with it try another provider there are plenty of plans that you don't have to go on a contract.
Oberg.
