    symbian phones are hopeless.
ive ditched my n73, after various software related problems (just bad design in my opinon) and im using a old 8800....

ive got a feeling your problems due to to many apps running at the same time.
press the symbian menu key, see which apps are open and close each one individually and see if you have the same problem.

    report back mate

its the button with a circle and a square on it

just the normal menu button u press to get into the menu... hold onto that for a while and it should show you all the programs that are running on the phone at that point in time.

Its just saying stand by and music player, I have even tried factory default and still no good. Could it be an Optus issue?

yeah I've got a n73, reckon they are shit too. It keeps turning off, when I call out sometimes the other person cannot hear me.

When you hang up a call, it turns off. Absolute rubbish. Very disappointing.

What do you expect when they try to jam so much features into one tiny unit. I got a brick, it's fallen off my ladder, in storm water drains, slid off the dash board out onto the road... Still works ! Call me LOL
