sounds like you need a new water inlet valve or the hoses are blocked
Gday I have one of these combined washer/dryers that won't fill with water.
It sounds like water is flowing in to somewhere, but it doesn't come past the detergent draw or fill the tub. If I pour water in through the draw, it starts washing ok.
Any ideas please?

Thanks 99, changed cold water valve assembly and bingo!
Can't figure out why there are 2 solenoid valves on the cold inlet. They both feed into a 'V' piece and then one hose.
Is one an over pressure cutout to close the inlet valve if pressure inside the machine gets too high maybe?
maybe one is for rinse & the other for wash - I've never seen one from this machine so just guessing

Just replaced the dual solenoid valve (one white and one black) cold inlet again, with a single solenoid valve from a dishwasher. I have left the wires on the second (black case) solenoid connected, and put it aside.
It seems to wash ok, but would like to know what the second solenoid valve on the cold inlet is designed to do, in case it's important. Only the white solenoid valve is marked with a flow rate. Does the white or black solenoid case mean anything?
Thanks.
Hello
I still have one of these machines and it still works well.
The issue I have is with the rubber seal on the lint filter. It must have stretched or hardened as the lint filter will no longer fit into the lint filter compartment.
I've contacted Omega and they don't even have a record of this model number so I can't find a new seal/lint filter.
I took it to my local repairer who suggested vaseline but that also doesn't work.
Can anyone please help me?
Thank you
Christine.

Hi Christine, that Omega answer doesn't surprise me. I had the same reply few years ago when I had my Omega washing machine failure.
I learnt back then that Omega is just rebranded Gorenje unit - at least in my case so maybe try to contact gorenje with photo of that rubber piece.
You also can try to search for the part on RepairClinic.com or PartSelect.com sites but for that you need the machine full model as it shown on the name plate - probably at the back.
How does the seal look like? Can you remove it and take a photo? Can it be made / cut out of rubber?
