    Default Asus Pda

A work mate has loaned me an asus pda which is running PaPAGo V7 maps. He wants me to put a better map on it. Can anyone advise me on that? Are there TomTom, or MIO maps (Australia) that will work? and could you please give me links?
I have put on my MIO map from my car Sat/nav and it looks OK except it won't pick up a signal.
    Any help is appreciated.

Tomtom 6 is the PDA program that runs on Asus PDA/GPS's both the program and maps are readily available via a torrent search on google.

    Hi,

I've downloaded a torrent version of TT 6. It installed OK but I cannot get voices to operate. Is there a fix?

I want to evaluate the TT software on my ASUS 636 as I am p@%ed off with my Co-Pilot Live Ver 7 I just up-graded to.

    Thank you in advance

You need to install the voices. You need to put the voice files into the voices folder on the SD card.

Many Thanks scotsman for the reply.

Over Easter I did some investigation and found that I needed to copy voices via card reader rather than via Active Sync. I meant to get back to forum and advise my solution.

This fixed my issue and I am able to evaluate TomTom with voice. I rather like it compared to the down-grade from CoPilotLive ver 6 to Ver 7 I have on board currently.

    Cheers

Try iGO 2006 plus instead. It's better than TOMTOM.

Again torrent or Usenext should be able to help you.

i have an asus p535, and use tomtom7 with latest aus maps plus voices, and works a charm. Maps and voices you put them on the memory card and it should work fine. HAvent had any problems yet so far *touches wood*

I've got a P735 in the cupboard, it's got igo8 running on it.
As long as TTS isn't used it's great.
