Kept getting booted off the Map Downloads site but managed to Log on to another site and grab Sensis R16 from there... all other stuff worked first time.

Runs on ASUS636N no worries

try disabling 3d buildings or use a NON tts voice..

I had the same problem before..disable also some POI that you dont need to pop up on your screen..

Done, had to delete all in save folder to get it to load,
now runs again.

For the last few days I have been trying to get poi_mapclose.bmp files from to work.

After searching the web I have done the following:

In the root of iGO8 I have added a ui_igo8 file containing a Common file and the poi_mapclose.bmp is within the common file.

To ensure that the standard icons are not used I went to Data, ui_igo8, icons, POI and then deleted klmpoi.icon.

I am using 400x240 res on a 800x480 unit.

Everything is fine, except the size of the poi_mapclose.bmp is not right.

When I open manage POI's and open the icon file, I see the half of two separate icons within the one icon?

It only happens for three pages of icons and the rest is fine.

I have tried increasing the size of the poi_mapclose.bmp and that hasn't worked.

Any suggestions please?

Hi. Nice job with Igo8 btw.
I have a huge problem with my car 2din DVD/GPS unit. My unit is this one
The only difference with the one in the link is that mine, has WinCE 6.0 installed and not WinCE5.0.
When i run IGO8 or AMIGO, my system reboots!!! When i run other programs like Garmin or Destinator8, they work.
Anything i can do to make IGO8 work?

Mine is from the same company. And mine does not reboot, What version of Igo are you using? I have multiple programs on mine and it never reboots.

There are many reasons why igo8 wont work and reboots your unit..what did you do so far? are you using igo from this thread?

I assume you get your POIs here:

look on p2. Mobile speedcams. This file contains redlight and fixed also.

Any missing speedcams can be plotted manually if needed.

Nothing better to do and thought I would see whether there where any updates expecting to go through pages and found your nice thread neatly laid-out.

I can't see basemap.fbl in the downloads. Is it because it is not needed now?

I have one I am using with sensisr15.1 - is that OK to use?

Not for me.

I downloaded both NAVTEQ and Sensis maps and got the Australia.fbl only.

Out of interest I downloaded the NZ map and that came with a basemap.fbl.

Works very well on my i900 samsung running WM6.1. Worked first time after installing as per your easy to follow instructions. No fussing about with port splitters/gpsgate etc as needed with tomtom on my model phone. The only thing i cant seem to make work is the TTS but thats no biggy.

make sure you have all files (language) in AUDIO folder and in content\VOICE..and edit your sys.txt..add something like this:
