Sorry about that . . There is an easier way to do it. You can just save your old.cfg file as is on something else and then copy it back on the sd card after you have loaded your new map and created a fresh .cfg file. I'm just lazy and keep it on the sd card but rename it temporarily while the new one is created.
Take care .. Mike

Thanks again , mine is 2661 working on an XXL540 (take pity on the poor eyesighted one) , but the missus has a OneXL V3 with modded TTS ,Forgot this : Navigator 8.412,Emulator 8.550.345223.1 and Australia 840.2561 , but when I try the map update to 2661 , it gets rejected as "Unable to use this map" . Is that the case ? Do I have to use the 2662 instead ? Sorry if it's a dumb question , can't see why it worked fine on the 540 and seems not on the smaller one.
Keep up the great work

You only need a patched or SE Navcore and a map activated for the device.
Navcore 8.2 and higher support the 2661 ,so check again if the map is really activated or if maybe your Navcore is not patched.

I use Win764Ultimate with no problem at all - so I would say you have some issues with the rights on your machine.
I'm using the 9.004 Navcore and since the 8.351 is your official Navcore I can't see any problem.
You could try to use EasyActivator instead to activate your new map and patch the Navcore - but make sure to use the meta.txt of Keygen4.1 as you need the new codes!

your virus scanner may be preventing you from using it - try disabling it
hi DU, i couldnt get your Key gen to work, my anti virus says there is a trojan something or rather on it. I tryed it anyway, and i coudlnt copy the tomtom4.exe file to the tomtom, just wouldnt let me. I tired running it on the desktop, but it says file not found. Im obviously doing something wrong here... could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks
its not a virus..... just disable your virus scanner and it will work
I turned off my virus scanner, but i still couldnt get it to work. Im trying EasyActivator at the moment but im getting maps not found when i switch the tomtom back on
Maps not found means they are not installed correctly.

Thanx again DU ! It seems I forgot the turn off step , and the meta from KG4.1 ,as I use the Alberts easy install. All working now with .2661 on my xl340 !
Try this fix , it worked for me : Re: call to DllRegisterServer failed 0x8002801c
Have you typed cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb and when cmd.exe
appears at the top of the Start Menu, right clicked on it and selected "Run as
Administrator" and then executed the regsvr command? The command is in the .bat file , edit that to see it , or type REGSVR32.exe C:\MSINET.OCX , make sure you include the path to MSINET.OCX , simplest if it's in the C:\ directory

The Tomtom cams can be configured in the Tomtom services,Safety cam menu.
Only the settings you get there are available.
For third party cams you can use the usual settings in the POI preferences.

I can't find "Tomtom services" the closet thing is TomTom traffic.
I run third party cams to for redlight and speed camera's too but I like the tomtoms icons that show the speed limit on them
