Thanks again DU - All working on 720

    Bootloader - 5.5128
    Navcore - 9004.1804
    Previous map - 8.35.2419 Aus - now 2661

Just a quick question or 2 to refresh my memory.

    1) I have many POIs provided by DU, Puca and others in my Aust map folder. Is there a quick way to copy these over to a new map? or is it possible to have all my POI's in a POI folder within the Aus map folder - would make it easy in future to add these to new map.

    2) What files(s) other than POIs do I need to copy over from my old map to the new one - I can't remember which file contained my settings??

    3) My POI warning voice does not appear to be working for the cameras - I had DU's voices working on my previous map but it's silent now. Computer voice works fine for all other functions.

    Thanks all

    1: Yes - Windows Explorer
2 : all .ov2 and .bmp files with the corresponding names (just copy all of them )
3 : check if you the .ogg files in the folder "sounds" ,if so check the settings for the cams.
If you don't use your old "mapsettings.cfg" your favourites and settings for the POI's and Cam's are gone and you have to set it up again.

the difference would be that 845 is an updated version of 840

Most important thing that was noticed so far : better coverage for remote areas - including the search.
Streets that could not be found on the previous release now appear in the address search (at least some of them).
One example : Myles road in Murrindindi ,Vic - was impossible to find with 840 ,you had to search the map to find it as it was not listed in the address search.
Maybe that is a reason why this release is a bit bigger than the old map.

    Interesting fact :
TT Home states the map is over 20weeks old ,but no map share updates available.
Wonder if that means the map is not really better in terms of road coverage ?
Maybe it is really just the included addresses for the search that was improoved....
I can't really see much of a difference as new estates that were marked as blocked roads or pedestrian only are still marked in the same way - despite the correction I've uploaded to TT.
Sometimes I think this whole thing with new maps 4 times a year is just a money making scam.

TT have finally updated a large section of the Calder Fwy between Melbourne & Faraday, so they have finally made some changes that I've been reporting for over a year.

Wow - that is what I call a useless posting !

Just post some crap because you have no idea - so that other will be confused!
If it is not working than it is more than obvious that you have done it wrong!
Since you did not even bother to post the necessary details I leave it up to you to do the research for the tools and instructions you might need!
