Anyone bought one of these 7" GPS
HI,
Anyone got one of these?
IF so what are they like for general city GPS? I'm looking at cheap units and these seem unbelievable for wht you get!!

Still 2 days left so i don't think it would stay at the $20 mark, but if it sells for under a $100 I think it would be worth it, they are offering warranty. I'd give it a go.

Yeah there has been a few of these around on ebay.. all go for around the 150 mark from what i see. Still seems dam cheap in compariosn, bit too cheap for my liking!!

they run route 66 with navtech maps win 4.2 ce op system get one with internal battery then it won't drop out when you start the car if you've got it in the cig lighter early ones had trial version of nokias smart2go which is similar to r66 but seemed to be abit better navtech are good country maps dunno about city wise took one to Ballarat last year sat on the consle between the seats in a commodre ute only lost the sats for about 30sec near Stewart mill before Avoca

sorry new to all gps scene.
So does 'route 66" do what all the others do? or could i install Tom tom sw if needed?
keeping an eye on these they tend to go for the $200 mark. considering this or paying a bit more and getting a tom tom xl one

Im pretty sure that one does not have a battery which means it always has to plugged into a power source, also i couldnt see any where that said the maps could be upgraded which is a problem with a lot of cheap gps's.
