    Default My computer won't start

Guy's I think this is terminal when my monitor blew up it must have done damage to the motherboard. When I press the on button on my computer tower nothing comes on, no CPU fan, no internal fans and even the PSU fan nothing. The only light that comes on is the motherboard green light.

Motherboard is an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium.

    Steps taken

    550w psu checks out OK.

Removed one stick of 1gig of ram started no go, swapped with the other still no go and finally with both out no beeps nothing put them back in. This is not good.

Removed all other PCI cards disconnected all DVD burners and floppy just left graphics card still no go.

Removed graphics card start comp no beeps comp just won't come on.

Finally took everything out except the CPU still nothing no beeps.

I reckon it's my motherboard what do you guy's and girls think

To all the one's that said the motherboard, give yourself a prize.

Went to my local computer store and they confirmed that it was the motherboard, cost me $35.00 for what I suspect. On a good note the ASUS motherboard has a 3 year warranty but have to wait at least a month GRRR... All my other components checked out OK, CPU, graphics card, Memory, etc.
