Yes you can if your software supports it, thats the way jukeboxes work.
Adobe.
Hello,
I run 2 monitors, no big deal, many do, however one of the monitors is run via HDMI and as such the audio can work through this monitor as well, but I default to the computers internal soundcard.
My question, and I did google with hardly anything turning up for my search criteria, can I default individual program to different audio devices?
eg
Watch a movie on monitor 1 internal soundcard, while playing music on monitor 2 HDMI audio.
Thanks for your responses.

As Adobe has basically indicated, Windows wont do it natively.
I have to change the defaulting sound card for some apps.

A lot of programs let you choose the sound output.
Put the default to the HDMI and configure the player you use for movies to use the Onboard Soundcard.
