The easiest way is to use CCcam on your server box as a server to the other clients rather than connecting directly to oscam. Just setup F lines in CCcam.cfg for your users and an N line to connect to oscam

hello, last year i spent a lot of time researching how to get my dreambox to work with foxtel and aurora, i ended up getting it to work with ccam and my orange foxtel card. today (ok it has been over 7 months) i plugged my box back in and my aurora channels still work (newcamd with idr1 key) and when i turned it on WITHOUT ANY CARD i was able to get boomarang, cartoon network fox sports active and espn (i dont know how) i than rescanned the sat. i nowcant decrypt those channels any more and my orange card doesnt work i have done some reading tonight and i have installed oscam 0.99.4 and cccam1.4.2 i do have my old box key file that has

BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 xx xx xx xx


but it doesnt work can some one please give me a step by step guide this is killing me i am about to cry i spent soooo long getting it to work and now it dont

dont use the latest cccam emulator try a couple older ones. I found that the orange card did not work with cccam on the latest 1.4 and cant remember but maybe even 1.3 so try 1.2 or before and it should work.

recently some of the channels have been sent down unencrypted (FTA) witch is probably why you were able to see them

Try the orange card in it's original foxtel decoder & see if you get pics from it first before fault finding the dreambox config. It is possible that the orange fox card has simply missed a key update.

ok so my card does work in my foxtell box (it has lived in there for the last 8 months so it is ok. i installed cccam2.0.11 ( when i push the blue button and go to addons --> download --> cam i only get cccam 2.0.1 2.1.3 2.1.4) and put cccam.cfg into /var/etc/ my cccam.cfg looks like this:

BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 XX XX XX XX <-------that is not my actual key but i did put a key in i didnt use xx. i know the key is right as it worked b4.

am i doing something wrong? would it be easier to delete my dreambox and start from scratch? if so how is that done?

i did soooo much last time i cant remember most of it

also is there a way to get the austar idr2 keys and use them like i have with the aurora idr1 key?

and is their a way to "unlock" the fbo channels ?

also as to channels being unencrypted i dont know if that was the problem on espn the "i" & "ND" were not green (so i think it was unencrypted) but on boomerang and cartoon network they were both green (i think it may have been encrypted?)

Boxkey is very important in OSCAM !

1. Generate Box key on your Orange card



2. Download and extract

Build 2046 latest version




3. rename

oscam-svn2046-powerpc-tuxbox-without_smartreader to oscam (497 kb)


4. put oscam to /var/bin/ directory


5. change oscam attribute to 755

5.5 Create Oscam.log to /var/log and change attrib to 755


6. Create 5 files (oscam.conf, oscam.server , oscam.user , oscam.services , oscam.srvid)

i'm in the looks like i'm about to have a fuity orange delivered upon me.
The server is currently a NewsCs XP set up with CcCam clients.

I'm scanning the above posts and getting confused. Can anyone point me at what i need to be reading.

yes, on the 800HD. But you won't even scan them in on the 500.

the do turn up as DATA channels in the list!
