    Default Display Driver Problem

Been cleaning up a friend's PC as it was running like a 3 legged dog. Did all the usual I do Ccleaner, Malawarebytes, Spybot, HijackThis, AVG AV, Reg Mechanic and got it running heaps improved. - But in the device manager for display adapter shows there is a problem with Gigabyte Radeon 9250 & Gigabyte Radeon 9250 (Secondary) drivers. I deleted both and rebooted to let Windows re-install, which it did but still same. Download latest drivers from ATI, MS & Gigabyte tried them all still same problem. OS is Win XP Home - what am I missing? What do I try next?
    cheers Bazza

you mean there's a yellow mark on them in device manager?

Think your right Phil, now the screen display is freezing. Will remove card, clean contacts & reseat it - see if that makes a difference

Thanks for posting the outcome Bazza . There is nothing more annoying than when people dont follow up ( which happens too frequently ) with the result which could help others at some stage in the future.
