White Cards, How?

Sorry, wasnt sure where to post this, but I would like to know:
How or why a white card blocks out Main Event channel for AFL games (which are for NSW ACT QLD), and when game is over back to pics.
Are people in NSW, ACT, QLD with white cards able to watch?
If they cant I suspect its a Fox only service on NDS and not available through Austr on Ir2
OR
I am thinking the details on whiteys may be Victorian based but my theory has me puzzeled because I noticed the ABC news the other day was ABC news NSW.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes This has puzzeled me for a while and got my card from a different state. I would like to know also.

For what it's worth, don't think mines vic based as i'm in Adelaide and can only get the SA local stuff - ie local Ch 2 and SBS on CDT... Yet to check the other stuff tho...

weird! mine displays main event no matter what is on, and all ABCs on the Austar TPs, until now i thought they opened everything but you people are saying they are state specific, anyone else got a state specific whitey?

its simple A time Zone bytes sent with the ECM's you can log and check for your self and you will see Longer ECM's not a lot of decoders are affected by this


A simple fix for a humax is to flash it with TOH

Freecam will also ignore this and give Pictures

Well thats my problem got a humax non flashed might have to look into Toh or different box.

Zinwell ZDX7000 doesnt do it
Topfield3000ciPro freeacmmed 2.06B doesnt do it
Humax 5400Z does do it internal slot. prob never noticed b4 because I rarely watch the ABC on the Humax
Humax 5400Z doesnt do it with freecam 2.06B
UEC720ixAurora doesnt do it
Topfield 3200IR doesnt do it
Dreamax doesnt do it

So out all all my white card friendly boxes, only the hummy/slot does it, all others including the hummy with freecam ignore it

Try resetting the cam when the actual Main Event is on.
I had the same happening here on my DM500 (hooked up to internal server)
Had Main Event channel on awaiting the telecast but seemed to stop before the Main Event.
A reset would show pics.

Early on the white cards history a number of people said ToH didn't work very well with seller's cards.

I have been using original firmware for this reason, but I would prefer ToH.

So people have no problem's with ToH and seller's card's?

Resetting the CAM (v2.09) on a Dreambox 7000 doesn't work for me here in Vic Weirdo.
What PIDS do you have? Video 0411h, Audio 0412h for me.
