Just noticed that the third season of Dark is out.
I assume nobody watched the first two seasons as it is in German and therefore I never mentioned it before.
However I noticed that I have season 1 in dual language and saw that season 3 can be downloaded somewhere in English so I assume it can now be watched on Netflix with English audio. Not sure how much is lost in translation.
I give this show a 10 out of 10.
If you like a big confusing chaos caused by messing around with time travel then watch this.
Don't be put off by the first episode. I found the first a bit slow and boring(like a drama show) but the people were so intriguingly unfriendly and the cinematic 'darkness' of this place in Germany kept me going. From the third episode the story starts to kick in and then it goes exponentially.
They compare it with Stranger things but I think Stranger Things is a kid show compared to this.
I didn't really have too any problem with the multiple (age related) versions of the characters but this Wiki might help with all the time lines and worlds if required:
Binge watching is recommended to keep on track, one a day works well after getting past the 'boring' first two episodes that are still required to understand the characters.

All 5 series (20 episodes) of the British psychological crime series, Luther (description at , are available for download using the get_iplayer application.
It stars Idris Elba as DCI John Luther and is well worth watching.
If you don't know what get_iplayer is and how to use it, ask a SEARCH engine.
I didn't mind that series it was quite good,
Just finished watching series 2 of Hanna, not to bad a show
The gritty and captivating fifth season of Luther starts on SBS Wednesday 29 July at 9:30pm. In case you missed the previous 4 seasons - or you just need a refresher before the new season starts, SBS is going back to the beginning with seasons 1 - 4 in late-night slots, in the lead-up to season 5. If late night doesn't work for you, never fear. The episodes will also be available for catch-up at SBS On Demand after broadcast.

yeah seen that and thought the same, Not bad in the end
just started watching S3 of absentia
First aired by the BBC in 2014, the first of the series is the story of a of a five-year-old boy's disappearance in France, and the subsequent attempt to locate him.
The parts of boy's parents are played by James Nesbitt and Frances O'Connor.
The second series, similar in content, concerns the disappearance of a young girl in Germany.
In both series, the disappearances are investigated by the French detective, Julien Baptiste, played by
Tchéky Karyo.
Both series received very positive reviews, with critics praising the cast, especially Tchéky Karyo's performance, and also the storytelling.
More detail at and also at the BBC website at .
The series can be downloaded from the BBC website by using get_iplayer.

In my opinion, British crime stores are hard to beat, but European crime is in a class of its own.
Here's a short list of European television crime series that are well worth watching, provided you don't mind the use of sub-titles (and in some cases don't mind searching for them by using a SEARCH engine to locate subtitles websites).
Recommended European TV Programs (copied from another site three years ago- I forget which one).

Thanks, managed to series link the first 4 seasons on SBS.
Noticed SBS starts S5 on 29th, as you say, however BBCFirst on Ftel are showing complete S5 all 4 episodes back to back on Fri 31st from Midday
Watched the first 2 episodes of S1 today, excellent show, I'm hooked.
Cheers, Tiny
"You can lead a person to knowledge, but you can't make them think? If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
The information is out there; you just have to let it in."
I have just remembered a BBC series, which I found really captivating, when it was first released several years ago.
The crime drama, Line of Duty, concerns the investigations of AC-12, a controversial police anti-corruption unit.
There are 29 episodes in total across 5 series.
It is currently being rebroadcast by the BBC and is available for watching via the BBC iPlayer app. (or save to your PC for storage or viewing later by using get_iplayer available from github.com).

I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Just binged-watched the first season of Truth Seekers last weekend ().
It's been a while since I watched anything from Nick Frost and Simon Pegg so it took me a few minutes to re-adjust to their sense of wackiness (think Hot Fuzz or Shaun Of The Dead) but once I got into it I was sorry it only ran for eight episodes. I believe there will be another season (at least) and I hope it's not still a year away!
It's a great show!
After suffering through Raised by Wolfs which I found extremely corny but still had some moments, I thought I will give SciFi a pass for a moment until the new season from Expanse comes out in December.
So I am watching now something very different called Ratchet.
It is very cinematic, very well acted, very catching story.
I am only at episode 3 but I already give it 5 stars.
I actually checked up on the lobotomy procedure from that time and it was spot on.

Has anyone had a look at NEXT? There are about 4 episodes so far....
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
"Just getting to the end of Ozark S3,.. just keeps get better and better with each episode and season."
Just wait until the last 2 min
