Forgot all about this but thanks to Hoe's revival of this thread I now DL'ed the complete season 4 and continued watching. From E03-4 it does get increasingly worthwhile to watch.
"The world is a lie", sometimes I think the same of our(my) world.
The mysteries might be gone, some parts are predictable but AI's getting so evolved that they question their existence is always entertaining.
Despite the weak first 2 episodes, the show is well done and I rate it higher than the 3rd season.
Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.
Humans: Entities that are not only outdated but broken... AI-self-learning-update-error...terminate...terminate...

Another good Series I've just watched is Evil. Three seasons so far, waiting for season 4 now...

I thought I'd commented here, The end of S3 does leave it open for a spinoff. Given the popularity of the franchise, they'd be foolish not to. Though some of their recent offerings have been less than stellar (pun intended) in their reception. Maybe the cow is just getting old.
