Just watched the new episode of Strange New Worlds last night. I think they've lost the plot. So many canonical errors in it not to mention the pathetic plot. Plus the storyline that did not follow "logic" at all. I won't mention specifics in case some have yet to see it.

Yes, gave up on Strange New Worlds, for me nothing really new about it

Binged Foundation season 2 in three nights, which is a class of it's own and has rather original ideas that combine ancient, sometimes primitive ways with very futuristic outcomes. I find all the acting superb and enjoy the cinematic settings, sometimes pause a still image to absorb the details as some scenes are a work of art for me.

Having now a break from SciFi and watching Hanna season 3 (spy thriller) which is flawlessly accurate when you concentrate on the details but maybe not everybody's cup of tea.
Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.
Humans: Entities that are not only outdated but broken... AI-self-learning-update-error...terminate...terminate...

Haven't watched any of the Reacher series yet, still trying to fathom why the hell anyone would cast Tom Snooze as Reacher in the movies!

Um, who are you talking to? I can't see any mention of Sarah Connor in the last couple of pages?

I only just finished both seasons of The Sarah Connor Chronicles and when I saw your comment I was excited about the possibility of more to come...

    Beacon 23.

Haven't made up my mind yet. I've seen 4 episodes.

It IS SciFi, so it gets a good look....

Well, I headed in & although a little complex time line wise, so are some brilliant Sci-Fi's.
Just finished season 1 all 8 episodes at ~40min, its' really good.
I wonder if there will be season 2?
Score I'm seeing on most sources is only ~5.2/10, I think it deserves more.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    Cheers, Tiny

I agree 5.2 is too low I would at least go a 7/10, keen to see what happens in Season 2 (it was renewed in December)

After almost every time I finish a Reacher episode I am on a music spree.

Never heard of these guys (after S01E07) but had to grab my axe (talking about the six string electric) and I must have improvised 100 variations of this riff(based on what both dudes are playing of course):

Today it was Spencer Davis Group (I'm a Man) that got the ball rolling. I must been around 13 y/o the last time I heard that.

The Reacher show is Ok but I get more kicks out of the music.

@Enf & Tiny, thanks for the heads up on Beacon. It is a little different, I like that.

The kids got me to look at a new US show called Tracker. Got through the first episode cause I was half busy cooking. I thought I'd try a second but I couldn't make it.

Time I'll never get back!! 'nuff said.

I'm working my way through Outback Truckers on 7+, not so much for the trucks as for the places that they visit. I love the Outback!

Lol, they wanted to put my company on that show but I said no.

We don't break down or get bogged, so they would just make dramas up and make us look stupid......

I like the content of Outback Truckers, but I can't stand the narration.

He's just such a drama queen... 'Oh no, a flat tyre, it's the end of the world, call out Search & Rescue!'

EDIT: Hoe beat me to it.

They've gotta keep the noddies entertained somehow! I'd love to have done something along those lines in my younger days. Did my HR licence and they offered me a HC as I did it in a prime mover, however, I'd already had arguments with MVR over the type of vehicle I needed to use to get the HR, which was all I needed at the time. Maybe I should gone for it, then it would have been a good jumping off point for a MC. All that said, I must admit crawling around under trucks fixing sh*t that has fallen off on the dirt does not really appeal.
