Default Problem with Asus 696 & Tom Tom

    Hi
I have an Asus 696, with TomTom 6 installed. When I turn the PDA on, and use TT6, if I close TT6, to use the PDA, then try to restart TT6, I get an error.
Has anyone else had this prob? Any fixes?

    Cheers
    J

err....forgot about that bit didnt i?

im running WM6 on the Asus, and the error msg is:
"Unable to start. An error occurred accessing a file."

As stated, this only happens if i use TT6, exit, then try to restart the program to use it again.
    Cheers

I had this with WM6 I deleted every TT6 file I could find on the 696 & reinstalled very carefully.
    It fixed it.

As mentioned in another thread, try iGO 2006 Plus. Better than TOMTOM,

    search torrents or Usenext

Swapping to IGO is not going to solve Tomtom problem, isn't it?

Sounds to me that Tomtom is still running and you are trying to run it twice....maybe...????.
I get that error when I am trying to reopen programs that haven't closed and are still running in the background
