PS3 Media Server types ???
What is the Sony PS3 looking for when it searches for a media server?
I understand it will find a Windows Computer and allow you to look through the My Pictures / My Video and My Pictures folders.
But how can you make it see other media devices on a network?
I have a Mediagate MG350HD and some Dreambox's on the network, but I’m not sure if the PS3 can be made to see them?
To my understanding your media server must be running one of the many media clients like Twonky Vision or alike.
It would be fantastic if you could use the PS3 as a gateway to all your stored media, but I guess Sony isn’t going to make it that easy.
Any ideas?
Just like the PS3 doesn’t have a Web Interface

Thank you for your reply urnab_s0ulja, i'm reading up on tveristy now.... seems impressive ')
So this can be installed on my PS3 to let it find all other Networked Stored Media?
If it's only for use on your PC, then i already have that covered, as my PS3 finds all PC's without a problem as stated. It's the other devices i can't get it to see
