OZTopo doesn't do auto routing. Not even v3 just released.
You can plan routs in Mapsource & upload them to your GPS, then it will highlight the way if you have the route selected.
hey guys got a garmin oregon 300 gps. downloaded oztopo v2.1 maps, used puca's program to unlock maps and was sucssesfull. but can use these maps to do road routing??? if i put in a destination it just takes me there in a straigh line??
any help is appreciated.

Yes, you can route with Topo v2 and 3. I am running this software on my computer with mapsource, on a Nuvi660, on a Nuvi760 and on a Dakota 20. On the Dakota, it does not give voice instructions, but "beeps" and shows the instruction on the screen.
I reckon you may not have loaded the files correctly.
Heith1, I think you are talking about Garmin Topo produced by Garmin.
Yes, this product auto routes.
I am & I believe the first post was talking about OzTopo as produced by GPSOZ
GPSOZ even state that their product does not auto route.
It is however a very good product with highly accurate & detailed mapping, particularly in off road & rural areas.
