    Default IDE harddrive

Hi all, I have a spare IDE hd of which I want to add to my new desktop, my problem is this, there are no more slots on the m/board to connect this IDE device.

are there any connectors available that will enable me to connect the IDE device to the sata connection on the m/board?, I believe if this is possible its my only option apart from buying 2 sata h/d's

This slots into the ide socket of your HDD and has a sata end for connection to a sata spot on the motherboard...costs about $25

gavpk....thanks heaps for the advice & info, but the pci card isn't an option due to the number slots available on my m/board I only have 3 one for the dialip modem, one for g/card and the other for the sound card.

thanks heaps guys really appreciate the info

    cheers
