Cheapie YFAtlas GPS and Garmin

hi guys

got myself an el cheapo YFAtas4 GPS with wince 6



it came with igo amigo which i instantly updated to the new maps i then copied off the USA maps it came with (i might go one day) and deleted the usa map files gaining 750+ MB

i then installed

Destinator 8
Destinator 9
Igo8
Tom Tom which was a hassle for wince6 but it now runs smooth as silk

and

Garmin Mobile XT which brings me to my problem.

Garmin itself runs perfectly and quickly however it seems to only show the major roads on the maps, hwys but no roads off the hwy?

also when navigating the map appears to freeze however the speed and position and also trip computer still work perfectly?

maybe a map issue?

it seems my maps were set to "least"

just changed it to "most" and all streets & signs etc are back

now just need to know why it freezes every so often

ok for anyone interested in these cheap chinese jobs i got garmin working

you must turn map level down from most to normal and turn off convert big5 to gp , turn off auto zoom and also keep pois down to a minimum (speedcams work for me)

its now running sweet on 5.00.30w ASN but for one thing................

my speedo image isnt displaying correctly, the info is just the picture is not



in the top section my actual dashboard is on the left half of the top screen leaving the right half white? not like above where it fills the screen, i suspect its in 320x240 or the other way round but it dont matter as everything else is fine but if anyone knows where the script entry is for the dashboard display setting or know how to change it that would be good

Can you tell me which version of tomtom you use for it not to crash, i have the same device but TT would not load. If you can upload it much appreciate. Thanks
